What is Shared Hosting?
Shared hosting is the most common entry point for new websites, functioning much like an apartment complex for the internet. In this setup, a single physical server hosts multiple websites simultaneously, requiring all occupants to share the same suite of resources, including CPU power, RAM, and disk space. Because the costs of maintaining the server are split among hundreds of users, it is the most budget-friendly hosting option available. However, since everyone is drawing from the same pool of resources, a massive spike in traffic on one site can occasionally slow down others on the same server—a phenomenon often called the "bad neighbour effect." It’s an ideal solution for small blogs, personal portfolios, or startup businesses that don't yet require the dedicated power of a private server.
What is Dedicated Hosting?
Dedicated hosting is a premium web hosting solution where an entire server is reserved exclusively for one customer. Unlike shared hosting, where you split resources with other users, a dedicated environment grants you 100% of the virtual server's CPU, RAM, and storage. This reduces the "bad neighbor effect" and ensures your website remains fast and stable, even during massive traffic surges.
Who owns the website or software once it’s finished?
You do. Upon final payment, we transfer full ownership of the intellectual property (IP), source code, and assets to you. Unlike "website builder" platforms that lock you into their ecosystem, our custom builds ensure you have total portability. We provide you with all necessary login credentials and documentation so you aren't "tethered" to us if you choose to move elsewhere in the future.
How long does a typical project take from start to finish?
Timelines vary based on complexity, but a standard Custom Website usually takes 6–10 weeks, while a Software Application (MVP) typically requires 3–6 months.
Discovery & Design: 2–3 weeks
Development: 4–8 weeks
Testing & QA: 1–2 weeks
The biggest factor in staying on schedule is usually how quickly your team can provide content and feedback!
What happens if something breaks after the launch?
We don’t just “build and bolt.” Every project includes a 14-day post-launch warranty (unless stated otherwise) where we fix any bugs or technical hiccups free of charge. After that period, we offer ongoing Maintenance & Support plans that include security patches, plugin updates, and performance monitoring to ensure your software stays secure and compatible with new browser updates.
